Pilot Project: "Santa LucĂa Connectivity"
Pillar: Educational InnovationWe have transformed a traditional classroom into the area's first Rural Innovation Lab.

"By managing a strategic donor fund, our purpose is clear: to transform learning environments and ensure that every child and young person has access to high-quality education, with a crucial focus on English and Technological Skills."
HELP TODAY: Re-imagining the Future in Central America.
HELP TODAY, in collaboration with local communities and strategic partners, leads a movement in dedicated to ensuring that children and youth can fully exercise their right to a quality education and a dignified life.
Our initiative is born from a deep understanding that education does not happen in a vacuum. It emerges as a comprehensive response to the pre-existing and persistent inadequacies of the region's educational and health systems, exacerbated by the digital divide and social inequality. We understand that for a child to Learn Today, their physical and emotional well-being must first be guaranteed.
Through our work on the ground, we have built an identity based not only on assistance but on collective purpose. We are not passive observers; we are a platform offering integral care and cutting-edge tools to face the challenges of the 21st century.
Turning intentions into measurable change.
We aren't waiting for the future; we are building it today. These are the active initiatives currently shifting the reality in our pilot communities in Honduras.
We have transformed a traditional classroom into the area's first Rural Innovation Lab.
We identified that 40% of school absenteeism was due to preventable health issues.
"We are going to break the silence. We will organize the first youth summit where high school students will debate the needs of their community.
These projects are just the beginning. We have a waiting list of 3 schools requesting our technology and nutrition program. Will you help us reach them?
"Learn to Serve, Learn to Progress"
At HELP TODAY, we believe that education transcends classrooms; it is the fundamental engine for human progress and an unavoidable responsibility to transform our environment. Based on principles of universal wisdom, our educational vision focuses on four pillars:
Education is not just a personal privilege; it is a tool for service. As President Russell M. Nelson taught, we must cultivate a deep desire to learn, as education marks "the difference between wanting to help other people and being able to help them." There are no shortcuts to excellence; real competence requires effort and dedication.
Beyond memorizing data, our goal is to foster critical thinking. Elder David A. Bednar emphasizes that we are here to "learn to love learning" and know what to do when we don't have immediate answers. True education gives us the means to solve problems, innovate, and adapt—essential skills in a changing world.
Ignorance limits, but knowledge liberates. Quoting Robert D. Hales, education places us in a better position to fight against error, as "knowledge dispels darkness, uncertainty, and doubt." An educated mind is prepared for the future and has the power to positively influence its community.
We understand that learning happens everywhere. Education encompasses both formal instruction in school and "informal learning from sources you trust" and everyday experiences. We seek to "broaden the mind and skills" of each child, preparing them not only to earn money but to reach their full potential as human beings.
"The more we learn, the greater the influence we can have for good."
— Camille N. Johnson
At HELP TODAY, we turn these words into action, ensuring that every child in Honduras has the tools to exert that positive influence on their future.
Education prepares them for better employment opportunities; it places them in a better position to serve and bless those around them; it will set them on a path of lifelong learning and strengthen them to fight against ignorance and error.
As Joseph Smith taught: “Knowledge does away with darkness, suspense and doubt; for these cannot exist where knowledge is.””
“In knowledge there is power.” — Joseph Smith””
